If I’m not available to help, or if you are looking for a counselor for your spouse or family member or for couples work in addition to individual (or vice versa), these are some names of clinicians I trust. These clinicians are in no way legally affiliated with The Open Heart Space.

I invite you to sit with me and have a conversation about who you are and what you hope for. I believe in treating the whole person, and specialize in supporting people with anxiety, major change, loss, and depression. We live in a fast-paced culture filled with distractions and technology, which can often cause great loneliness. I find that offering space and peace within can be beneficial to the overall health of a person. I hope to share with you my compassion, creativity, and openness in caring about and listening to your experience.
I specialize in working with couples and communication, infertility, new parents and postpartum depression, anxiety, illness, loss, financial psychology, addiction and depression. I use a variety of modalities including Mindfulness, Cognitive-behavioral therapy, expressive arts, and feminist/empowerment therapy.

Even the most productive of us struggle internally with feelings of anxiety and doubt, loneliness and despair. Our minds need healing. Our relationships could use attention and repair. Our role on this planet isn’t to live without struggle, but through it, flawed and fierce, loving and humble. My role is to help individual and couples do this work. To live more deeply into their lives, through both the pain and their joy.
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. My work follows a client-centered approach, particularly informed by Gestalt therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, somatic and mindfulness-based approaches.
My work is also deeply influenced by my own long-time meditation practice, which has included several periods of extended silent retreat. Meditation has taught me an immense trust for the possibility for happiness and peace.

I use Body-Centered Psychotherapy as an approach to holistic healing. I work with adolescents and adults during/throughout life transitions. My background in dance/movement therapy and creative arts enables me to use techniques that help balance and integrate emotional, cognitive, social, and physical well being. I am also trained in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Prenatal and postpartum women as well as those experiencing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and substance abuse can greatly benefit from my partnership.
