There are too many studies to count showing the benefits of meditation on mood, physical health, concentration—even relationship success and business/career achievement. However, often people don’t feel comfortable starting or committing to a practice of their own. So many people come into my office saying “I’m not good at meditation” or “I can’t meditate.” These folks often have inaccurate information about what the goal of meditation is and how to do it.
I offer basic mindfulness meditation instruction to help you understand and work out the kinks to begin and develop comfort with your own practice. We will talk about how to meditate and practice together for a short time. I then provide guidance, readings to support your practice, and reflection on your experience. Sessions are $100 for 50 minutes.
